Do you accept my insurance?

Yes! We accept most insurances and will even file your claim for you! We are an In-Network provider with Ameritas, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Delta Dental PPO Plans. We also accept and file MedCost and TeamCare. Even if you have an Out-of-Network Insurance, most insurance companies cover Preventative Dental Services 80% - 100%. Check with your insurance company for a detailed breakdown.

What should I bring to my first visit?


Please bring your Driver’s License and Dental insurance card. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a link through text and email to complete New Patient Forms. If you are unable to complete electronically, hard copies are available in the office. Please also bring a list of medications you are currently on and make sure to inform staff of recent changes in your health history. If you have your dental records and x-rays, please have them forwarded to bsdgso@hotmail.com prior to your appointment.

Can I expect a cleaning at my first appointment?


Did you know there are 5 different types of dental cleanings? 1. Prophylaxis Dental Cleaning, 2. Scaling and Root Planing Cleaning, 3. Scaling with Gingival Inflammation, 4. Periodontal Maintenance Cleaning & 5. Gross Debridement Cleaning. The practice philosophy of Best Smile Dental is to offer the highest quality of care possible in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, however, your first cleaning cannot be completed until we have diagnosed any symptoms or developing issues that could point to larger health issues.
